The Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon Wednesday focused on the impact of artificial intelligence on local businesses.

The luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mission Hills Country Club, 34600 Mission Hills Drive.

“The luncheon will explore the profound impact of AI on the community and the world, addressing how businesses can anticipate market trends and adapt to evolving consumer behaviors, and how nonprofits can leverage AI to address complex social challenges,” according to the chamber. “The discussion will also delve into the ethical consideration of AI and how it can be harnesses for social good.”

The event will include speakers Jordan Crenshaw, the senior vice president at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Technology Engagement Center, where he manages nearly 300 companies and trade associations; and Andrew McCauley of Visit Greater Palm Springs and Flashlight Marketing.

“The future is intelligent, and understanding AI is no longer optional,” Katie Slimko-Stice, president of the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce, said in a statement. “… This luncheon will provide our community with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the AI revolution and harness its potential for growth and innovation.”

The event is sold out.
