Firefighters battled a brush fire that burned approximately four acres in Lakeland Village Saturday.
The fire was reported around 3:30 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Grand Avenue and Magnolia Street, where firefighters found the vegetation burning at a slow rate of spread, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Fire crews were able to stop the forward rate of spread by 4 p.m., but expected to remain on scene for two hours working on mop-up.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
