Nearly two dozen residents were evacuated Saturday after a gas leak was reported in San Jacinto.
The leak was reported around 1:15 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of South Alessandro Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
A total of 22 residents were evacuated in abundance of caution, the department announced.
No injuries were reported.
The Southern California Gas Company was requested to assist.
Firefighters predicted remaining on scene for at least two hours.
