Firefighters battled a five-acre brush fire in Moreno Valley Saturday.
The fire was reported around 11 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Gilman Springs Road and Alessandro Boulevard, according to the nonprofit wildfire-information service Watch Duty.
Forward progress was stopped around 11:15 a.m.
No injuries were immediately reported, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
