An incident involving a cargo plane appearing to catch fire upon landing at Los Angeles International Airport was under investigation Thursday.
The tires of a DHL Aviation plane appeared to catch fire upon landing at LAX around 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, according to media reports.
Information on the cause of the fire and the status of the airplane were not immediately available.
There were no reported injuries, according to NBC4.
Video from the scene shows what appears to be the plane’s tires detached from the plane and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responding to the scene.
