A woman accused of molesting a 16-year-old boy at a juvenile camp, where she worked as a therapist, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to sex-related charges.
Ana Patricia Moennich, 36, faces up to six years in state prison if convicted of one felony count each of contact with a minor for a sexual offense and oral copulation of a person under 18, along with a misdemeanor count of child molesting, according to Deputy District Attorney Seth Carmack.
Moennich worked as a therapist at Camp Mendenhall in Lake Hughes, where the teen was serving a juvenile sentence, the prosecutor said.
The charges involve alleged sexual conduct with the teen between April 27 and Nov. 22, 2013, while he attended therapy sessions.
Moennich was ordered Sept. 23 to stand trial and is due back in a Lancaster courtroom Nov. 4 for a pretrial hearing.
