A woman and her two daughters were struck by a car and injured today in southwest Los Angeles, authorities said.
Paramedics were sent to the 1100 block of West Jefferson Boulevard shortly after 1 p.m., Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
A 32-year-old woman and a 1-year-old girl were taken to a hospital in critical condition, and a 3-year-old girl was taken to a hospital in serious condition, Humphrey said. Their names were not made available.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
Los Angeles police with the South Traffic Division were handling the investigation.
