A man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly set his vehicle on fire on the Harbor (110) Freeway in South Los Angeles.

The pickup truck fire was reported about 3:45 p.m. on the northbound side of the freeway at Manchester Avenue, said CHP Officer Patrick Kimball.

Firefighters were on scene first, followed by CHP officers who closed all northbound lanes and arrested the suspect, whose name was not immediately released, Kimball said.

Two lanes were reopened at 4:13 p.m. and all lanes were reopened just before 5 p.m., according to the CHP.
