Firefighters took 24 minutes to put out a fire in a possibly abandoned home in Sylmar on Sunday.
The fire was reported at 2:15 p.m. in the 11800 block of Kagel Canyon Street, near Foothill Boulevard, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The home had been boarded up and was possibly abandoned, Humphrey said. No one was hurt.
