Authorities released the name of a woman killed when her car and a motorcycle collided in Tarzana, also killing the motorcyclist.
The collision happened at the intersection of Collins Street at Reseda Boulevard about 11 p.m. Sunday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The car’s driver and the motorcyclist were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorcyclist was identified as Sergio Olaguez, 30, of Tarzana, and the car’s driver was identified as Caroline Chen, 60, of Oak Park in Ventura County, according to the coroner’s office.
According to the LAPD, Olaguez was going north on Reseda Boulevard at a high rate of speed when his Yamaha motorcycle collided with the driver’s side of a Honda Accord driven by Chen, who was making a left turn from westbound Collins Street onto southbound Reseda Boulevard.
