A man was shot and killed early Sunday in Marina Del Rey and his body was found in a restaurant parking lot.
Deputies arrived to find the victim next to a vehicle, in the parking lot of Islands Restaurant at 404 W. Washington Blvd., according to a video news photographer on the scene.
Deputy Mike Barraza of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said the shooting occurred shortly before 3:40 a.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Barraza said.
