
Police Wednesday sought the public’s help in identifying two burglars who broke into a Fairfax District restaurant and stole about $1,200 in personal checks and cash from a register.
The theft took place about 1 a.m. on Dec. 20 in the 7600 block of Beverly Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The culprits, two men who appear to be 30 to 45 years old, pried open the rear door of the business, made their way into the restaurant’s dining room and then forced open a register, police said.
Both suspects were black. One was 30 to 40 years old, 5-feet-3 inches to 5-feet-6 inches tall, about 190 pounds with a dark moustache. He was wearing a dark beanie, a light-colored jacket and dark shoes and gloves. The other was 35-45, 6 feet to 6-feet-2 inches tall, also with a dark moustache. He, too, was wearing a light-colored jacket, dark shoes and gloves. He also wore a light- colored beanie and pants.
