A California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation inmate walked away from a minimum-security facility near Azusa Monday, and authorities sought public help to find him.
Wade Anthony Raffaniello, 50, was last seen in his assigned dorm at the Julius Klein Conservation Camp at about 12:05 a.m. during a routine security check, according to Lt. Hector Morua of the CDCR.
Raffaniello is white, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 200 pounds, with hazel eyes and a shaved head. He was serving a four-year sentence for transport and sales of controlled substance, and had been scheduled for release in April 2018.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts was urged to call the Julius Klein Conservation Camp commander at (626) 910-1213; the Sierra Conservation Center watch commander at (209) 984-5291 ext. 5439; or any local law enforcement agency.
