A woman drove off a 200-foot cliff Wednesday in unincorporated Fernwood in the Topanga area and was airlifted to a trauma center, authorities said.
Few details about the spectacular crash were immediately available, and authorities did not disclose the woman’s condition.
Authorities responded to a call reporting the incident at about 2:25 a.m. in the 19700 block of Observation Drive, said a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
The woman was extricated from her vehicle and rushed to a trauma center via aircraft, the dispatcher said. Her condition was not immediately available.
