A woman’s body was found Saturday in a stairwell at the Hermosa Beach pier.
The body was believed that of a transient and was found at the bottom of a stairwell on the north side of the pier, police said. They did not release the time of the discovery or whether it was being investigated as a homicide.
The dead person appeared to be an adult, according to coroner’s Lt. Brian Kim.
