An Amber Alert was issued Thursday at 9:10 p.m. after police in Cathedral City reported two children were abducted during a vehicle theft.
The suspect is unknown, but he was last seen driving the stolen car containing the two boys.
The vehicle is described as a 2016 white Honda Accord, California license plate 7TJR654.
The missing boys — both Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes — are Jayden Cortez, 1, and Carlos Cortez, 2.
Jayden is described as 1’5″ tall and weighs 30 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue shorts.
Carlos is described as 2′ tall and weighs 40 pounds; no clothing description was provided for the boy by police.
