A man who robbed a bank on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood was being sought.
The robbery occurred about 2:30 p.m. Monday at a Chase Bank branch at 8150 Sunset Blvd., near Crescent Heights Boulevard and the border with West Hollywood, according to Laura Eimiller of the FBI’s Los Angeles field office.
The man, who was wearing a New York Yankees cap, presented a note to a teller which threatened he had a gun and a knife, Eimiller said.

It’s unclear how much money he obtained before fleeing out the bank’s front door.
The man is white, but a further description was not immediately available.
“So far, we have him linked to just the one robbery … but will investigate whether he may be linked to others,” Eimiller said Tuesday.
