Authorities Thursday identified two men from New York State who were killed in a shooting in North Hollywood that left two other men wounded and two others being sought for questioning.

The gunfire erupted around 11:35 p.m. Monday as a group of men stood in the 5000 block of Klump Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Ryan Dunk, 25, of Brooklyn, died at the scene, said coroner’s Assistant chief Ed Winter. Jawara Tucker, 29, whose New York home town was not known, died at a hospital, Winter said.

The other two men were hospitalized with injuries of unknown severity.

LAPD Lt. Mike Kozak told reporters at the scene that some of the “victims” may be suspects. Two weapons were recovered at the scene, he said.

Anyone knowing more about the case was urged to call homicide detectives at (818) 374-9550, or (877) LAPD-247.
