
A two-alarm fire sent smoke billowing from a single-story commercial building Wednesday in West Hollywood.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire, which was reported at 6:02 p.m. in the 7800 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, near Fairfax Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Crews from Beverly Hills assisted in battling the blaze and knockdown was called at 6:43 p.m., a dispatcher said.
Reports from the scene indicated the building housed a car leasing business.
Santa Monica Boulevard was closed between Fairfax and Genesee avenues while crews battled the blaze and mopped up, according to the sheriff’s department.
