Authorities Thursday identified a man who was fatally shot in Montebello.

The shooting occurred about 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of South Second Street after a report of shots being fired, Montebello police Sgt. Jennifer Carrera said.

Dominic Espinoza, 37, of West Covina died at a hospital, according to the coroner’s office.
