Deputies responding to a robbery call Sunday in East Los Angeles shot and killed a suspect, authorities said.
The deputy-involved shooting occurred at 2:06 a.m. in the 500 block of Colonia De Las Magnolias, Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
The wounded suspect died, Deputy Joana Warren said. Two other men suspected of robbery remained at large.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were investigating the shooting along with investigators from the District Attorney’s Office and the Office of the Inspector General, he said.
