Two people were transported to a hospital Saturday morning, one in critical condition, following a two-vehicle head-on collision in Riverside.
Firefighters responded at 1 a.m. to the crash on Central Avenue near Lochmoor Drive and located two vehicles with front end damage, according to Riverside Fire Department Battalion Chief Todd Gooch.
Two patients were transported to a hospital, one in critical condition, the other with moderate injuries, Gooch said. The names, ages and genders of the injured were not immediately disclosed.
The Riverside Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
