A man was attacked early Friday on a street in Anaheim and walked to a nearby hospital before he knew he had been stabbed, authorities said.
The attack occurred about 1 a.m. at Beach Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim police Sgt. T. Hoang said.
The victim knew he was hurt but didn’t realize he’d been stabbed and walked to a hospital at Beach Boulevard and Orange Avenue to receive treatment, Hoang said.
There, it was determined he had been stabbed and had “a few puncture wounds,” the sergeant said.
The victim was transferred to UCI Medical Center for further treatment of wounds not believed life-threatening, he said.
No suspect information was available.
