A 37-year-old man walked into a Burger King restaurant in the Midway section of San Diego and told employees he had been stabbed, according to the San Diego police.

The incident occurred at the Burger King at 3700 Rosecrans Street, said SDPD Officer Robert Heims.

The employees called police but the unidentified victim refused to cooperate or provide them with information on what happened, Heims said.

The man was transported to a hospital for treatment of his wound, he said.

No suspect information was available and a motive for the stabbing was not yet known.
