Authorities sought the public’s help Tuesday to find a missing 87-year-old man who requires blood pressure medication and suffers from dementia, diabetes and scoliosis.
R.C. Kendrick, of Compton, was last seen on Friday about 10 p.m. in the area of Manchester Avenue and Denker Avenue in South Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Kendrick is described as black, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair, according to the sheriff’s department. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, tan shirt, black pants and a black hat.
Authorities circulated a photo of Kendrick and encouraged anyone with information about the case to contact the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau, Missing Person Detail at 323-890-5500. Those wishing to report anonymously can call 800-222-TIPS.
