A domestic violence suspect barricaded himself in his Granada Hills home for about seven hours Tuesday before surrendering.
Officers went to the residence near Andasol Avenue and San Jose Street about 5 a.m. on a report of a domestic violence incident, but the man refused to surrender, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police surrounded the home and called for a SWAT team, and traffic was routed away from the area.
The suspect, who was alone in the residence, surrendered around noon, police said. His name was not immediately released.
