A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Northridge Friday evening, but it was unclear if the accident was a hit-and-run.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Balboa Boulevard and Prairie Street about 9:45 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Video from the scene showed a man talking with officers, but it was unclear if the man was the driver of the vehicle or a witness to the crash.
The age, gender and name of the victim were not disclosed.
The extent of the pedestrian’s injuries were not immediately available.
