At least one person was killed in a vehicle crash on the Foothill (210) Freeway in La Verne, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened about 6:05 p.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway at the Fruit Street offramp, which has been temporarily shut down, the CHP reports.
There’s no word yet on the age and gender of the victim. The person apparently died at the scene. The victim’s name will be withheld pending notification of next of kin.
There’s no word yet on the number of vehicles involved in the crash or any other injuries, CHP Officer Dion Conley said.
The CHP canceled its SigAlert and opened the off ramp at 10:09 p.m.
