Three people were injured Monday, two seriously, when an SUV overturned just east of Moreno Valley.
The rollover crash was reported about 11:10 a.m. on Gilman Springs Road, between Lisa Lane and the Moreno Valley (60) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Riverside County Fire Department crews reached the scene within a few minutes and immediately requested two ambulances.
Good Samaritans were performing CPR on one of the crash victims when paramedics arrived, according to reports from the scene.
Two patients were taken to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley with life-threatening injuries, while a third patient was taken to the same hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, according to the fire department.
Sheriff’s deputies were assisting CHP officers with the investigation, and as of 11:45 a.m., Gilman Springs was partially closed because of the crash.
