A suspect was shot by deputies Tuesday afternoon in the Westmont area of South Los Angeles.
The shooting happened about 5:15 p.m. near West 109th Street and South Budlong Avenue, according to Deputy Trina Schrader of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Authorities did not immediately release any information regarding the suspect or the circumstances of the shooting.
No deputies were injured.
