A 31-year-old man was sentenced to 120 days in jail for taking upskirt photos of a woman and a 15-year-old girl without their knowledge at a Cypress department store, according to court records obtained Thursday.
Jorge Anthony Ibarra Jr. pleaded guilty on Dec. 7 to a pair of misdemeanor counts of using a concealed device to record another without their consent. He is scheduled to report to jail on Jan. 7, according to court records.
Police were called just after 8 p.m. on July 29, 2018, about a suspect taking surreptitious photos at the Target store at 6935 Katella Ave., Cypress police Sgt. Robert Cote said. After the teen’s father confronted him, Ibarra fled the store.
Ibarra also used his cell phone to take photos of a 22-year-old woman who was shopping at the same store, prosecutors said.
