A 35-year-old man pleaded guilty Wednesday and was immediately sentenced to one year in jail for a spree of peeping in Tustin.
Joshua Russell Callihan of Tustin was out on bail on charges of peeping in Tustin when he was arrested again for doing it again last year, police said.
To resolve the first case against him, Callihan pleaded guilty Wednesday to six counts of peeking into an inhabited building, two counts of loitering and one count of child annoyance, all misdemeanors, stemming from incidents in January, February, April and May of 2020. He posted bail on those cases May 18 and was released.
Callihan was arrested again in September after he was seen entering a gated community in the 16000 block of McFadden Avenue, where he had peeped in the past, according to Tustin police.
In that case he pleaded guilty to child annoyance, two counts of violating a protective-stay away order and one count of loitering on private property, all misdemeanors.
Callihan peered into the windows of unsuspecting victims and videotaped them or attempted to do so.
