A woman shot to death while sitting inside a parked car with a man in Harbor City was publicly identified Monday.
Maritza Remijio Paniagua, 20, was a Torrance resident, according to the coroner’s office.
The shooting occurred about 3:45 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Plaza Del Amo and Halldale Avenue, Los Angeles police reported.
The man was expected to survive a gunshot wound to the face, police told NBC4.
A motive for the shooting was unknown, and a description of the shooter was not immediately available.
