A 47-year-old man was wounded Saturday evening in a drive-by shooting in the Watts area of Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported just after 7 p.m. at 115th Street and Mona Boulevard, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
The man was walking down the street when a man in a car drove up and fired multiple rounds from a gun, striking him.
Paramedics took the wounded man to a hospital, where his vital signs were stable, the desk officer said.
