Police Saturday were looking for a motorcyclist who fatally struck a 51-year-old woman who was crossing a street in Riverside.
The crash was reported at 11:53 p.m. Friday.
According to the Riverside Police Department, the woman was walking north on Wood Road, crossing Van Buren Boulevard, when she was hit by a westbound motorcycle.
The motorcyclist did not stop and continued traveling westbound on Van Buren, police said.
The victim — whose name was not released — was taken to Riverside University Health System Medical Center, where she died of her injuries.
