A man driving a car that had been reported stolen was taken into custody Tuesday following a pursuit by Los Angeles police that ended in Burbank, authorities said.
The chase ended about 6 a.m. near Victory Boulevard and Mariposa Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspect got out of the car and tried to hide beneath another vehicle, but was spotted by a helicopter crew and was taken into custody at gunpoint by officers. The suspect’s name was not immediately available for release.
