One person was killed and two others critically injured Friday evening in a two-vehicle collision adjacent to the Hansen Dam Recreation Area in Lake View Terrace.
The head-on collision occurred just after 7:05 p.m. in the area of 10805 Wentworth St., near the Hansen Dam Golf Course, said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
One person was pronounced dead inside a vehicle at the scene, while two others had to be freed from the other vehicle and were taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
