Two men were shot and wounded early Thursday outside a night club in the downtown Riverside area, authorities said.
The shooting was reported about 1 a.m. near the Downtown Experiment, in the 3600 block of University Avenue, said Riverside police Officer Ryan Railsback.
The men apparently had just left the business when they were wounded in a confrontation with two suspects, who ran away, Railsback said. The wounded men were taken to a hospital, and were expected to survive, Railsback said.
No description was available of the suspects. Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call police at 951-353-7100.
