A 35-year-old man was charged Monday with raping his unconscious wife and sexually assaulting two girls in Anaheim.
Jose Cruz Baltazar was charged with rape of an unconscious spouse and assault with the intent to commit a sex offense, both felonies. The crimes were alleged to have happened on Jan. 1, 2018, according to the criminal complaint.
Baltazar is also charged with four felony counts of lewd acts on a child younger than 14 on a girl in February 2015, according to the criminal complaint. He was also charged with two felony counts of lewd acts on a child younger than 14 for another girl in January 2018, according to the criminal complaint.
Baltazar also faces sentencing enhancements for substantial sexual conduct with a child and multiple victims, according to the complaint.
Baltazar, who was being held on $1 million bail, was arrested Thursday, according to jail records.
Baltazar did not enter a plea at his Monday arraignment, which was rescheduled for May 5 in the North Justice Center in Fullerton.
An Anaheim Police Department public information officer could not immediately provide details. A spokeswoman for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office did not immediately respond to a request for details.
