Fire crews made quick work of an apartment fire in the Jefferson Park area Monday, and no injuries were reported.
Fire crews responded shortly before 2 p.m. to the three-story building in the 4200 block of West Mont Clair Street near West 28th Street, where a fire was burning in a ground-floor unit, according to spokeswoman Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It took 18 firefighters 12 minutes to extinguish the fire without any reported injuries.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
