It took 24 firefighters less than 15 minutes Sunday evening to put out flames in the small rear house of a South Los Angeles property.

The fire was reported at 9:06 p.m. in an 800-square-foot single-story home at 1037 W. 67th St., west of Vermont Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.

The house was well-involved with flames when firefighters arrived, Humphrey said.

The flames were out at 9:19 p.m., he said.

No injuries were reported, Humphrey said. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
