A man suspected of sexual assault in Northridge was arrested and police Tuesday sought additional possible victims.
Officers responded to a radio call of an “attack suspect there now,” near the 8600 block of Reseda Boulevard, between Parthenia Street and Roscoe Boulevard, around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. When they arrived, they took Jesus Tabares into custody without incident.
The officers’ investigation revealed Tabares was providing massage services to the victim at the location and sexually assaulted the victim during the massage, police said.
Tabares was booked on suspicion of forced oral copulation and penetration with a foreign object, police said. Bail was set at $100,000.
