Smoke and flames lit up a Beverly Crest neighborhood Monday morning when a heavy fire involving multiple vehicles damaged a detached two-story garage.
The fire was reported at 1:38 a.m. at 2241 N. Betty Lane, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.
Firefighters put out the blaze in 26 minutes and prevented it from spreading to the adjacent 2,400-square-foot hillside home, Humphrey said.
No injuries were reported, he said. The cause was under investigation.
