Firefighters battled a brush fire Sunday morning in the Santa Ana River Bottom in Riverside.
The fire was reported around 10:40 a.m. Sunday just north of mile marker 67 on the SART trail, according to the Riverside Fire Department.
The blaze originated in a homeless camp and encompassed one-eighth of an acre, including two large eucalyptus trees.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
