A 25-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday in Van Nuys in what police are calling a gang-related shooting.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the 14000 block of Delano Street and Hazeltine Avenue at approximately 2:12 a.m. regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon their arrival, they found the victim lying in the driveway of the location with a gunshot wound to the head, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
There was no suspect description.
