A man was shot in Long Beach Sunday morning and was uncooperative with police in tracking down the shooter, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched at about 3:20 a.m. to the 200 block of West Anaheim Street regarding a shooting, the Long Beach Police Department reported. They located the victim, who was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the lower body. Paramedics rushed him to a hospital.
“The victim was uncooperative in providing additional details of the incident,” police said. “The investigation is ongoing.”
