A man was found dead inside a hotel room in South Los Angeles, prompting a homicide investigation, police said Monday.
The body was discovered at about 2:20 p.m. Saturday in the 4100 block of South Western Avenue, Los Angeles Police Department Officer David Cuellar told City News Service.
Officers secured the scene and the death appeared suspicious enough to investigate as a homicide, Cuellar said.
Detectives were continuing an ongoing investigation into the death Monday evening.
