One person is dead and three others were rushed to a hospital from a possible drug overdose Sunday morning at a home in Lakewood, authorities said.

Deputies were dispatched at 1:10 a.m. to the 6000 block of Dillman Street in response to a “person not breathing” call, a watch commander at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lakewood station told City News Service. The victims were described as four adults.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, she said, and paramedics rushed three people to a hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known.

ABC7 reported that authorities suspect the victims overdosed on fentanyl. When asked about that report, the watch commander said: “We’re not confirming that right now.”

No further information was immediately available.
