A pedestrian was killed by a hit-and-run vehicle Sunday morning in Pomona, authorities said.
Officers dispatched about 1:35 a.m. to the area of Towne Avenue and Ninth Street located a pedestrian laying within the northbound lanes of Towne Avenue, the Pomona Police Department reported.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The involved vehicle fled the scene of the collision and was not located by responding officers,” according to a police statement.
