A man was found dead Wednesday evening in Duarte and a person of interest was detained.
Sheriff’s deputies were called at approximately 6:49 p.m. to the 2500 block of Maynard Drive, south of Mt. Olive Drive, where they found the victim, said sheriff’s homicide Lt. Michael Modica.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
